Variants or product variants are used to represent different variants of a product in a balancing. |
As an element type, the variant [PV] has all the features of an element, i.e. it can be sorted, duplicated, etc. like other elements.
Variants can be used globally or locally, and the creation of variants is a prerequisite for mix balancing and maximum balancing
In these types of balancing, variants of a product are selected and the number of pieces to be produced of the individual product variants (variants for short) is entered.

Total quantity, weighting, and cycle time can be entered per product variant.
It is also possible to use the calculated cycle time from the "Workplace organization" tab.
The "Use cycle time from workplace organization" column must be visible and the checkbox must be set.

A product variant can have the following tabs. They can be shown and hidden using "Bausteinkonfigurationen".
