Whether an element is valid for a variant and whether the element can be used in the assignment of a variant is decided by comparing the "Variant key" fields of the variant and the elements, not by comparing the variant key "[CR]" criteria.

The following examples are intended to clarify the rules:

Note:

All contents of the process list are subject to the archive function. This means that the element description and variant key correspond to the contents at the time of adding them to the balancing. Only the [CR] criterion always shows the current value. Changes to descriptions and/or the variant key are only reloaded after they have been explicitly refreshed by clicking the "Refresh" button.
