The administrator can set up any number of element configurations in the system and thus create a clear structure of the elements. In the "Element configurations" node, it is possible to create and manage own configurations of different, predefined element types, e.g. "Process element" type, configuration = "Assembly analysis".
All element configurations are defined as follows:
•Element type -Assignment of the element configuration to a certain element type
•Code - Language-independent code of the element configuration
•Description - Language dependent description of the element configuration

The behavior and layout of each element configuration can be configured in different categories, which are summarized in tabs. Depending on the element type, different tabs are available for configuration, such as:
