Definition: |
The term balancing refers to the timing of the workstations in an assembly line to the cycle time, i.e. the interval at which the product must pass through the stations. To this end, the work contents are distributed as evenly as possible. |
The "TiCon Takt" module makes it possible to assign work tasks (specified by individual "Analysen" in TiCon Base) to resources, e.g. workplaces or operators within an assembly line.
Optionally, a mix of variants and types can be taken into account.
The following applies: The more the sub-processes are structured in detail, i.e. the more finely divided the whole work content is, the easier the elements can be assigned to the stations and the better the balancing difference can be minimized.
Goals of balancing:
▪Achieving an even utilization of stations (operators, workplaces)
▪Increase in productivity
▪Increase in output quantity
▪Avoidance of bottlenecks and minimization of idle times
▪Reduction of running time
Variants:
The "TiCon Takt" module offers three different modes of operation.
1."Standardtaktung" (use for a product in a variant)
2."Mixabtaktung" (use for a product in fundamentally different variants on the same assembly line)
Allocation and redistribution is possible for several balancing variants
3."Maximalabtaktung" (use for a product in different variants on the same assembly line)
Advantages of the module Takt:
•Constantly updated display of workload and capacity during the balancing process
•Complete user control
•Flexible reaction to changes in personnel assignment and processes
•Determination and comparison of efficiency parameters
•Direct link to analysis elements from TiCon Base
•Time update on demand (archiving)
Special cases
•With evaluation of the "Arbeitsplatzergonomie" (aggregated, calculated, with/without ergonomics allowance)
•With use of HWD elements and "Berechnung von Haltungsübergängen"
•With line balancing of "Abschnitten"
•With consideration of set-up times (distinction between gross/net times)
•With "exklusiven Stationen"
•With "stationsübergreifenden Werkern"
•With any combination of the above
