In the formula section, you have the ability to configure all relevant settings for element configurations of this type.

Basic settings

Formula type

Value formulas are used to calculate intermediate results such as circumference, distance, or weight. Usually they are used in other formulas but can also be included directly in elements. The result of a value formula is always considered as time type ttu.

Time formulas provide a time value in a specific time type or separately for the different time types. The time type in which the formula result is displayed depends on the setting of the switches time distribution, time type, and (parameter) time type in the "Header" tab of the formula.

Time Distribution

This is the default of the Type of time distribution in the header of newly created formulas.

Time type

The time type of a formula determines in which time type the formula result is stored. The total of all times of the formula result is recorded in the time variants determined by the time type. The time type <separate> evaluates the six times separately.

Permitted types of parameters and their default time type

The TiCon administrator can determine for each formula element configuration which input parameters can be used by the user. In the selection field next to the activated selection box, a default time type can be specified for the parameter type.
