Definition: |
A maximum balancing is used to represent a product with different variants in a single balancing. |
Properties:
•Description of the maximum case, i.e. all different product variants and all work operations are included and weighted according to their frequency in the production program.
•Comparable to the "All" variant of a mix balancing (each work content is only marked whether it takes place or not)
•Assignment is automatic using a variant key that is maintained in the process.
•Optional individual assignment (to do this, show the "Product variants" column in the assignment); in this column, you can select or deselect variants using the drop-down menu.
•The variant key is maintained in the respective process, each change affects all variants
•If no variant key has been maintained for the process, this process is valid for all variants.
Advantages:
•Overview of the entire assembly process without having to switch back and forth between multiple balancings
•Optimal utilization of all resources
•Automatic assignment of work contents
