Resources in the Takt module

Resources, i.e. the operators and stations, are created in the “Assignment" area. Depending on the setting in the element configuration, it is also possible to use other element configurations as a resource, such as machine [MC], department [DP], and team [TM]. For the sake of simplicity, the term station and operator or machine is always used below.

Both local and global resources can be used in a balancing. For further information on the meaning and handling of the different types of resources, see chapter “Local and global resources".

Resources can be grouped. For example, operators and machines to stations/workplaces.

Please note:

Only data from resources that are active in the respective variant are included in calculations.

Resources that are NOT active IN ANY variant are NOT counted in the key figures for the entire balancing. This means that if a resource is active in at least ONE variant, it is included in the key figures for the entire balancing.
