Time evaluation for multiple station work (MSA)

In balancings with the working mode “Max Balancing”, you can switch between two modes in the “Admin" for time evaluation:

a)One common time value

b)Time types tm, ttm, tt

Time types mode tm, ttm, and tt

Definition:

Time type

Meaning

tm

Time of assigned human resources

Time of ergonomics allowances

Time of HWD posture transitions

ttm

Mixture of the times of human resources and machines (by applying the “Simultaneous with" function)

tt

Time of machines

Display in the assignment:

In the tree view, three time columns labeled tm, ttm, and tt are displayed instead of a single time column:

The three times are shown separately in the chart (horizontal display):

The times are shown at the bottom of the chart (vertical display):

Times for individual processes are displayed as a tooltip when you hover over the desired process with the mouse.

Display in the evaluation:

The total time for the three time types is displayed in the "Evaluation" tab.

Value added

If process indicators have been assigned, three time columns are displayed in the "Value added" tab instead of one. The percentage remains on the total time (= sum of the three time types).

For each value of the process indicator, the corresponding value of all resources per corresponding time value of the process indicator is displayed in the "Load (tt)", "Load (ttm)", and "Load (tm)" columns.

Please note:

The setting can be changed even if elements already exist. The times are then classified accordingly when the balancing is opened.
