Simultaneity and delayed start

The “Simultaneity" function allows one or more processes to be processed simultaneously by several operators or one or more processes to be processed simultaneously by one operator on one machine. The "Delayed start" function allows you to assign a delayed start time to a process.

The advantage here is the clear designation and calculation of resource load.

Both functions are only available for element configurations of the maximum balancing type.

To use them, a checkmark must be placed next to "Define simultaneity" in the element configuration of the balancing.

Properties:

The simultaneity of a resource with another resource can be set for one or more assignments

A delayed start can be set for one or more assignments

-Delayed start at an absolute point in time

-Delayed start at a relative point in time

-The time unit used (e.g. TMU) depends on the setting made in the administration.

Delays and simultaneities can be combined

Delays and simultaneities always apply to all variants of a balancing.

If you want to set a delay/simultaneity in only one variant, the corresponding process must be inserted several times in the assignment and it must be set for each variant whether a delay/simultaneity exists or not

No simultaneity can be set for HWD posture transitions and ergonomics allowances.

Note:

The “Simultaneity" and "Predecessor/Successor" functions cannot be activated at the same time.
