Insertion of work contents

Elements can be added to a balancing either directly (inserting from Explorer via drag and drop) or via the "Datenbasis" to the list of work contents.

Text rows from the data basis are always loaded, provided that they are not empty. This improves structuring.

Note

An element can be available in the work contents more than once and allocated with different process indicators.

Functions in the Assignment ribbon

Depending on whether local/global processes and/or data basis are allowed for the work contents, various functions are displayed in the "Assignment" ribbon in the "Work contents" area.

Function	Meaning
New row	Inserts one or several new rows after the current row. The number of rows varies according to the number of selected rows.
Filter	Activates row filter above the work contents. Enter the text to be filtered into the input fields above the respective columns.
Information	Shows different element information to the selected element: Resource path, row in which the element occurs, code, description, duration, etc.
Remove	Deletes the selected elements from the work content. This function is not active if a data basis is used.
Insert element(s)	Adds a new entry to the work contents.
Copy element(s)	Copies the selected elements to the clipboard.
Open	Opens the selected elements. This function is only active if global processes are allowed.

Deleting work contents

Pressing the Del key does not remove any elements from the work contents. To delete elements, the "Delete" button must be selected from the "Work content" area of the "Assignment" ribbon.

Note:

If a data basis is used, it is not permitted to delete processes from the work contents. The "Remove" button in the ribbon is not visible in this case.

Factors

In the "Assignment" tab, factors can be defined for work contents in the corresponding column.

These can also be stored in the form of a variable.

In this case, the "Variable" tab in the administration must be enabled for the balancing type used. If a variable is used for which no value has yet been stored, a value of 1 is stored for this variable by default. If necessary, the value can be adjusted later in the "Variable" tab.
