The properties of a folder can be opened using the context menu or in the ribbon. In order to be able to use this option, the user must have the "Edit folder" role as well as read/write permission for required folders.

Open folder properties
From TiCon 4.06.06 and higher, the properties of a folder are opened in a separate window. This allows the properties of different folders to be opened simultaneously for easier comparison.
Under the folder properties, you can find information about properties, folder usage, roles, users, and element configurations.
Clicking Close window or Save and close exits the properties.
![]() Properties of a folder – basic settings The following settings are available for synchronization •No synchronization •Once on all subfolders (recursive) •Permanently on all subfolders (recursive) •Once from parent folder •Permanently from parent folder
* Changes to the properties of the upper node are applied to the properties of the folders below it in the hierarchy. Do not duplicate content during multi-level duplication •During multi-level duplication of an analysis, all analyses contained in the structure and substructure of this analysis are duplicated as well. These analyses can be stored in completely different folders. •If the "Do not include content in multi-level duplication" checkbox was activated, the analyses of this folder will not be included in the multi-level duplication process – this means no duplicates will be created. •The setting is applied to folders that contain, for example, company-specific standard elements that should be reused. |
You also have the option of checking the correct usage of folders by clicking on the "Search for duplicate code" button. If there aren't any conflicts regarding the usage, this will be indicated in a dialog. ![]() Properties of a folder - Folder usage The folder usage can be completely forbidden depending on type and status.
