Overview

Folders

▪Folders are used to organize TiCon elements into basic categories, such as user data, MTM process elements, data cards, etc.

▪Some folders are predefined, while others are user-defined

▪Folders are created and managed in File Explorer.

Module

▪ e.g., TiCon Base, Takt

▪predefined, depending on license

Element types

▪There are different element types for each module, such as formula, process element, etc.

▪The Base module includes predefined element types that can be used across modules and are not subject to licensing restrictions, such as the image elements and resources.

Element configuration

▪Module configurations are used to perform delimitation between different elements of a given type, for example, "Assembly Analysis," "Logistics Analysis" under the "process element" module type.

Recommended Approach for data organization

1.Concept for types of data to be created: Create:

a.Define required settings (e.g. allowance times, criteria, ...).

b.Set different access rights for users.

2.Creation of the element configurations

3.Creation of folder structure (at least rough definition, upper level/s)

4.Assignment, which element configurations are permitted per folder:

a.for storage in folder

b.for use in elements which are stored in the folder

5.Creation of roles for authorization for element configurations and folders

6.Creation of users and assignment to roles
