The Exclusive Stations / Exclusive Use can be used when at least two or more human resources are working at one station. It ensures that this station may only ever be used by one human resource at a time (= exclusively). |
This means that only one operator can be working there at a time and the station is closed or blocked to others during this time.
Work steps
1.Set the Stations are exclusively usable in the Balancing tab of the element configuration for the desired balancing. More about this: Balancing
2.Click Select Column and show column X (Exclusive Use).
3.Check the box in column X for the desired station.
The corresponding processes are displayed in gray and italics in the tree view and are shaded in the diagram.
This view can be changed by enabling the Hide Placeholders feature.

A station can only be set to "exclusive use" if no work contents have been assigned to it yet. If work contents are assigned to an exclusive station, the check mark in column X can no longer be removed. |
