If a balancing is created without a data basis, the desired elements are transferred from the Explorer to the lower part of the assignment, the work contents, using drag and drop.
Otherwise, the work contents are automatically filled with the analyses of the linked data basis. The elements are assigned from the work contents to the workers via the context menu (1.) or via drag & drop (1) and (2).
It is possible to select multiple elements.
Alternatively, an element can also be assigned to a operator directly from Explorer using drag and drop.
There are various ways to assign work contents
1. Via the context menu
Clicking the right mouse button over work content opens the context menu. In the Assign area, the work content can be assigned to the appropriate operator.
2. Per drag and drop to the tree
Highlight the desired work contents and assign it to the appropriate operator in the tree by holding down the left mouse button.

It is possible to have the work contents assigned automatically.
In this case, all stations and human resources must be created in advance and a cycle time must be specified.
You can then select all work contents and drag and drop them into the top level (row no. 1) of the tree view. TiCon will then assign the work contents automatically. This results in the optimum utilization of all resources.

Structuring with sections
The use of sections is recommended if the data basis includes very long analyses. If these analyses are structured in sections, TiCon breaks them down into their sections, creating smaller elements that are easier to assign.
If a data basis is used, the elements it contains are resolved down to their sections in this case and assigned to the work contents. A maximum of two levels is resolved.
If sections are already used on the first level (directly in the data basis), the elements contained in the data basis are no longer resolved into sections.

For these balancing types, the sections adopt the variant key of the parent element.
Additional features
▪Assigned work contents can be moved in the tree view / chart view by using drag and drop or the context menu.
▪The assignment can be removed using the context menu, drag and drop, or with the Del key.
▪One element can be assigned to several operators.
▪If an element that is not contained in the work contents is assigned (e.g. via the Explorer), the corresponding element is added to the list of work contents.
▪In very large balancings, the graphic is automatically scrolled during assignment using drag and drop to display stations and operators that were previously outside the displayed window.
▪Stations with assigned work contents can be copied from one balancing to another.
▪It is possible to select elements, resources (together with their elements), and stations together with their resources in the assignment graphic. The selection can be extended using CTRL and SHIFT
