Administration > Users and Rights

The Admin tab is used to implement the SuperAdmin/LightAdmin permission model.

The Super Admin has unrestricted administrative privileges and has the ability to grant or revoke privileges to other users or roles without restriction.

The Light Admin has only limited administrative privileges, which allow him to perform specific, delegated tasks without having full system access.

These rights are assigned to him by the Super Admin.

Examples:

Mass functions can be selectively authorized (either by the administrator (G.ADMIN) or by a user who has the right to manage users and roles).

The ability to create, modify, and delete users/roles is granted to single roles/users (G.ADM.USR). These users have the ability to grant permissions that they themselves have.

Each admin function corresponds to a node in the administration tree view. This makes it possible to delegate specific administrative tasks to single users.

Please note:
Admin functions have the ability to be customized only if the G.ADMIN admin permission is active.

Administrator / Super Admin	G.ADMIN	To be able to use an admin function, the "G.ADMIN" right must be set to read or read/write. The set authorization is transferred to all underlying nodes, but can be adjusted individually by changing the authorization.

Program	G.ADM.PRG	View data on type and status, etc.	Change all values.
Texts	G.ADM.TXT	View data on autocorrect, spellcheck, etc.	Change all values.

Please note:
▪If the "G.ADM.USR" right is active, please note that the user/role can give themselves or other users additional rights (including all administrator permissions). ▪The "Standard" (not authorized) and "Locked" authorizations prevent access to the corresponding admin function. ▪A user is only a Super Admin if the effective right for G.ADMIN is set to "Read/Write".
