Administration > Users and Rights

In the "Functions" tab, one or more roles with the corresponding permissions can be assigned to a user.

Changing Permissions

Clicking in the "Permissions" column opens a drop-down menu showing the available permissions.

If you need to adjust multiple permissions simultaneously, a brush function is available:

1.Click the desired rows. (At least one of these lines must contain the desired permission value.)

2.Hover over the row containing the desired value.
✔ The brush icon appears.

3.Click the brush icon.
✔ The selected rows are assigned the desired permission value.

Please note:
If a value defined using the brush function is not allowed in the corresponding row, the value remains unchanged.

Function	Meaning
Translator	Allows the user to work with several languages, i.e. maintain elements with texts in all installed languages in the Admin and in the application.
Allowed to save elements with status x	Allows the user to save elements with status x.
Edit folder	Allows the user to create, delete or rename folders.
Delete elements	Allows the user to delete elements.
Import elements	Allows the user to import elements.
Change elements of other user accounts	Allows to change elements of other users with status 1.
Duplicate elements across folder borders (deep copy)	Allows multi-level duplication of elements that are located in different folders.
Release search lists	Allows the user to release search lists. Released search lists can be selected by other users in the advanced search in the "Search filters".
Search: Search for other users	In the advanced search, it allows for restriction to any user for owner, creator, and modifier.
Translate standard texts with dictionary	Allows for the use of button text translation in Admin under Language/Country settings and thereby for automatic translation of all still untranslated TiCon standard texts with the supplied dictionary.
Delete folder with contents	Authorizes the user to delete a folder including all its elements.
Mass change: X	Allows the user to execute mass changes, such as Change type/status, Rename element, etc.
Use of module X (e.g. use of Takt)	Authorizes the use of a license existing in the database for the corresponding module.

Please note:
In folder structures, permissions must be set for the parent folder in order for permissions assigned to subfolders to work!
