For a mix balancing, the elements that are used for the balancing must have a variant key.
The variant key is entered in the header of the element. Furthermore, a product variant with a variant key must be assigned to the balancing. The elements in the balancing are assigned using the variant key.
Variant key at element
If a product family is used, the variant key is generated automatically; if it is assigned manually, it corresponds to a copy of the criterion [CR]
The following rules apply to the use of multiple variant keys for processes:
Character |
Meaning |
+ |
AND |
/ |
OR |
; |
without restriction, valid for all variants |
Blank |
Spaces in the variant key field are always ignored. |
The criterion variant key [CR] can be combined with AND / OR.
•AND-relations are used, if an assembly is only installed, in case another assembly is installed at the same time.
•OR-relations are also used, if the same assembly was installed in different products and the element must therefore be set to be valid for several products.
Please note: |
•The variant key is case-sensitive. •Elements without a variant key are valid for all variants by default. This corresponds to the variant key semicolon ';'. |
The following variant keys at elements are invalid and therefore not permitted:
•A;
•C;/D
•A//D
•A++B
•;;
