Assignments can be linked with one another.

One assignment can have 1 to n linked assignments.

Linked assignments can be generated automatically or manually.

Use cases

1.Cross-station operator/machine

If a process is assigned to a cross-station resource, a linked assignment is inserted at all other stations of the resource. This is at the same position in time.

2.Exclusive station

If a station is exclusive, a linked assignment is inserted for all other resources when a process is assigned to one of its resources. This is at the same position in time.

In the case of automatically generated linked assignments, all other linked assignments are also deleted when an assignment is deleted from the group.
