Number of tools used

Number of tools used indicates the number of tools required to perform an assembly.

Explanation

If different size fastening elements are used to fasten a component, this normally requires the use of more than one tool.

Example:

If a component is fastened with both M8 and M6 bolts (differing wrench sizes), this requires the use of 2 wrenches or changing the wrench socket. For this, a frequency of 2 is entered in the column "Number of tools used".
