Flexible part describes a component to be grasped, that is not dimensionally stable and might escape when grasping it.

Difficult grasping describes components, that are difficult to be grasped due to their gripping geometry or gripping surface.

Explanation

Gripping geometry: The component doesn’t have any defined gripping positions and/or is difficult to be grasped, because e.g. the gripping surface is too small, not parallel or difficult to access.

Gripping surface: Component is difficult to grip as the surface is e.g. oily or greasy.

Hooked

Hooked describes a component to be grasped, which has to be separated before grasping.

Explanation

The component to be grasped can be hooked with other parts, stick together or twist into each other (e.g. springs, cables).

Sensitive part

Sensitive part describes components, that have a sensitive surface, are deformable or can be damaged.

No orientation sign

No orientation sign describes components to be assembled in a certain position, which have no significant orientation signs for a correct positioning.

Explanation

There aren’t any significant orientation signs for cameras or sensors for a correct positioning, provided that the component or assembly may only be assembled in a certain position.

Additional gripping location

Additional gripping location describes components, whose geometry of components requires at least one additional gripping location.

Explanation

An additional gripping location may be necessary due to its dimension, shape, weight or an additional positioning location.

Rule A-G1:

If additional gripping locations are necessary, this has to be analyzed with the appropriate frequency.
