Part dimensions

Two main dimensions > 300mm

"Two main dimensions > 300 mm" refers to the dimensions of a component or assembly that essentially determine its outer geometry.

Explanation

For example, if the length and width of a component are each > 300 mm, but its height (thickness) is only 10 mm then the length and width are considered as the main dimensions. Main dimensions which are > 300 mm have a decisive influence on the handling during positioning. Normally, such components are called "bulky".

One main dimension > 800mm

One main dimension > 800 mm describes a component or assembly group with at least one dimension > 800 mm.

Explanation

Components or assemblies with one dimension > 800 mm are characterized by extensive parts handling.

Note:

If the dimensions of a component are > 300 × 300 mm, and one dimension is > 800 mm, then only the assembly interference "One main dimension > 800 mm" is evaluated.
