Basic value |
The basic value describes the ideal assembly of a component or sub-assembly without considering any difficulties with the assembly and ergonomics. |
Explanation
The basic value is the value required to assemble an ideally designed component (part). Basically, it must be assigned to every component to be evaluated, and it includes the first positioning location. The basic value is divided into four weight classes to take better account of the ergonomic influencing factor load weight.
Please note: |
The heavier the weight of a component, and the more often it needs to be moved manually, the higher the ergonomic risk (load on the whole body). EAWS® berücksichtigt ein ergonomisches Risiko für den Gesamtkörper ab einem Lastgewicht von 3 kg. Components with lower weights can also result in an ergonomic risk for the upper extremities (hand, arm, shoulder system) if a higher frequency of movements is involved. |
