A user is associated with defined standard folders and starting folders. These are specified by the TiCon administrator by entering a user-specific path.
The set-up of the starting folder is used to limit the visibility of the available folders. In Explorer, the specified starting folder is displayed at the top under "Folder" [F]. Folders located above this folder are hidden and not available. If an attempt is made to access a higher-level folder above the user-specific path, the message "Folder cannot be found, because it is outside the entry point" is displayed in the status bar and the root node is selected. Elements which are opened via the Dashboard or the search and which are located above the starting folder are still displayed, unless this is defined differently via rights/roles.
