How to delete an element?

There are different options to delete an Baustein. To do so, select the desired element(s) and use one of the following functions:

1) Ribbon \ Delete

2) Context menu \ Delete

3) Press the Backspace or Del key.

Note:

Elements can only be deleted if the user has write permission for the status, the element, and the folder of the element as well as a full license for the respective module.

Elements used in other element structures cannot be deleted.

Deleting elements via the context menu

After selecting the function, a dialog appears which displays all marked elements and elements that are to be deleted. Each element has a checkbox indicating the selection. By clicking the "Delete" button, all elements which are ticked are deleted.

Note:

A deleted element is not removed from the database immediately. To permanently delete a deleted element, use the search function "Gelöschte Bausteine".

It is not possible to restore deleted elements.

How to delete a structure line?

There are different options to delete a structure row. To do so, mark the corresponding row(s) and use one of the following functions:

1) Ribbon \ Delete row

2) Context menu \ Delete row

3) Press the Backspace or Del key.

Note:

The whole row is automatically selected when the context menu is called up in a structure row. For this reason, it is not possible to delete a text passage with the context menu.
