It is possible to prevent the execution of software that is not digitally signed.

This can be achieved by using the Application Control-Function of Windows.

Regardless of the settings in Windows, TiCon itself checks all files used for integrity in order to maintain the security of your computer.

If changes are detected, a notification appears and TiCon refuses to start so that no malicious code can be executed.
