Resources help to group operations and are used as operation area (swimlane) in the Graphic tab.
The resource in the process design corresponds to any personal resource, e.g. department, team or operator.
There are two options to include resources in the process design:
1. Enter description, select a color for the graphical representation / as colored label where appropriate.
2. Use existing global resources, which are stored in the database as master data.
For further information regarding local and global resources see How to Use Local and Global Resources.
Please note: |
•The description of global resources is only updated if the standard text has not been overwritten (see standard text vs. structure text). •When a resource is deleted, all assigned operations / shapes are also deleted. No additional note appears. If you want to keep the operations / shapes, move them to another operation area before deleting or assign the operations in the Operations tab to the node "not assigned". |
