In the Graphic tab, the process modeling is displayed in graphical form. Apart from the central work area, there are several function bars.
1) Graphic ribbon

Shape |
Insert new shape |
Inserts a new shape in the upper left corner. If a shape is selected, the new shape can be inserted directly at the correct position: - to the right - below -to the left - above |

Delete shape |
Deletes the selected shapes and connections. |
Connect |
Connection mode |
Activates or deactivates the connection mode, i.e. changes between shape and connection mode. In the connection mode, the anchor points are displayed for connecting shapes. |

Automatically connect |
New inserted shapes are automatically connected with shapes that are close. |
|
Connect with last one |
Newly inserted shapes are automatically connected with previously inserted shapes. |
View |
Time units and decimal places |
Here you can set the time unit and number of decimal places with which the times are supposed to be displayed. |

Snap to grid |
Display grid and snap shapes to grid when inserting and moving. |
2.) Shapes

Start shape |
Each process design has always exactly one start shape. |

Process step shape |
A process step shape has a description and can be completed by entering times or by linking them to process elements. Please note: The time is entered in the time type set in the ribbon. |

Interrupt shape |
With the interrupt shape, interruptions in the process (e.g. for idle times) can be demonstrated. |

Interface shape |
With the interface shape alternatives are modeled. |
|
End shape |
Each process design finishes with at least one end shape. |
|
Operation area |
or swimlane An operation area consists of one initial description and a color. |
|
Decision shape |
A decision shape always requires at least 2 outgoing connections. By setting the description type, you can specify the description of the outgoing connections. |

Comment |
The comment shape is provided as an addition to the process design and can be displayed in any desired color. |
3. Work area

Depending on the shape that has been selected, different settings can be made in the "Properties" window:
