The Posture Transition (T-Tr) column can be displayed in HWD assembly forms and balancings.
Its purpose is to visualize and analyze the changes over time between the starting and ending postures of consecutive HWD segments. This makes it possible to see the impact of a posture change on the total execution time of a work sequence.

A downward arrow indicates a comparison between the last line of the current HWD section and the first line of the following section. |

Depending on the result of the evaluation, the arrows are marked red or orange.

A maximum of two arrows can be displayed. |
Total transition time
Please note: |
|---|
To use this feature, the Calculate Posture Transitions option must be enabled in the Administration section under "Block Attributes">Block Configuration. In addition, the corresponding column must be displayed. |
The time calculated from all posture transitions is stored as the total transition time and is included in ttb into the basic time of the element.
It is displayed in the total row in the Posture transition column.
The view of the total transition time takes into account the time settings defined in the ribbon, for example:
▪Time unit
▪Number of decimal places
Conditions for identifying posture transitions
Only HWD sections are included in the analysis. For this, two consecutive, valid lines must contain HWD analyses.
Comment lines and loop lines are not taken into account.
A posture transition is only calculated if both the predecessor and successor are HWD analyses. Otherwise, no posture transition is displayed.
Evaluation
For the evaluation, the following lines are compared with one another:
▪the last line of the previous operation and the first line of the current HWD section
▪the last line of the current HWD section and the first line of the next section
If no explicit start or end line is defined for an HWD section, the first and last line of the section is used instead.
Factors (Q × F) and validities in the balancing are not taken into account in the calculation. HWD sections are therefore included in the evaluation even if a factor or number of pieces has a value of 0.
Please note: |
|---|
If the start or end lines of an HWD section are changed, a time update is automatically triggered. All dependent assembly forms are then updated. If an ergonomic evaluation has already been performed, the existing EAWS evaluation is reset or recalculated. |
