In the Struktur of an element, for example, you can quickly search for all occurrences of a certain text or code.

1.In the "Structure" ribbon in the "Row" group, click "Find & Replace" or in the "MTM Analysis" ribbon, click " Button_Suchen_Ersetzen_2 ".

2.Enter the text you are searching for in the "Find what" field.

3.Click Find Next, in order to search for the next occurrence of the text or code.

Note:

In order to restrict the result, there are the two options Match case and Find whole words only.

•If the "Match case" checkbox is activated, TiCon only searches for words that match the case of the word or expression that you have entered in the "Find what" field. If, e.g., you search for ALIAS, the result includes ALIAS but not alias.

•Find whole words only to restrict matches to whole words rather than partial words.

How to find and replace text?

You can automatically replace a text or a code. For example you can replace "Get" with "Get and Place".

1.In the Structure ribbon in the group Row or in the MTM Analysis ribbon, click Find & Replace.

2.Switch to the Replace tab.

3.In the Find what box, type the text that you want to search for and replace.

4.In the Replace with box, type the new text.

5.Select one of the following actions:

•Click "Replace" in order to replace all occurrences of the text. After having clicked "Replace", TiCon automatically goes to the next occurrence of the text.

•Click Replace All, in order to replace all occurrences of the text.

•Click Find Next, in order to search for the next occurrence of the text.

Note:

Find and replace only works for the currently active tab. If e.g. the Structure tab is open, the application searches and replaces in all fields of this tab.
