In the Users menu item, all users are created and managed, and all settings are made for the users. A user can be created via the New context menu or by using the New button in the Administration ribbon.
When creating a user, the following information is entered:
•Personal data (user, password etc.)

The password is case sensitive! it should be assigned only initially and changed by the user. |
•Default folder (Standard folder / Starting folder)
•Additional information about the user (optional)
•Assigning roles (recommended) and / or individual rights (e.g. at data cards, folders, print forms, functions)
In order to duplicate a user, select the required user and then choose the option Duplicate in the ribbon. Duplicating duplicates all user settings. This includes, among other things, all own search filters.

In addition to normal users, it also possible to create ActiveDirectory users.
From TiCon 4.05 and higher, there is a Transfer function in the user account ribbon. With the help of this function, a user can transfer everything that belongs to him (e.g. elements, journal entries, time settings) to a target user. Settings of the source user that correspond to the standard are not transferred to the target user (e.g. time unit under Change options of the start ribbon). |
