A new Extra point category is created using New / Extra point category in the ribbon Administration. By using Delete in the ribbon Administration it is possible to delete existing categories.

If a category is deleted, it is retained in all elements that have used this category to date but is then no longer available for new elements. |

A extra point category is identified by the code in the header tab. As an option a description can be specified.
Each category of extra points contains a number of criteria in the tab Extra points from which the user can choose.
