Due to ongoing research and further development of the EAWS® method, changes to the calculation rules may occur.

To accommodate these changes, there is the function in Mass Time Calculation (Ergo). It allows all process process element with EAWS ratings to be recalculated in accordance with the current set of rules.

The following element configurations can be recalculated:

▪Balancing (EAWS)

▪EAWS®-Aggregation

▪EAWS®-Job rotation

▪EAWS®-Assembly

▪EAWS®-Analysis

▪EAWS®-Rapid screening

▪MTM-HWD® Sequence

▪Process elements with an active EAWS® evaluation tab

Possible reasons for executing a manual mass time calculation (ergonomics):

▪indirect time changes; there is no automatic time update for EAWS® analyses

▪changes to the EAWS® analysis structure caused by mass calculations

▪Change of the underlying EAWS® version

Work steps

Recalculating the times is a computationally intensive process that can take a considerable amount of time.
Therefore, it is possible to influence the scope of the calculation by using specific search parameters, thereby calculating only a subset of all possible elements.

1.Use search criteria and filters to determine the building blocks to be included in the calculation.

2.Optional: Test Run
Check the "Test Run" checkbox
This allows you to verify how changes to the EAWS evaluation algorithm (new EAWS® version affect existing data. The changes are shown in the displayed table, but are only temporary and are not saved in the individual elements.

3.Optional: Update the snapshot

4.Click the Calculate button

✔ The results of the mass-time calculation are viewed in a table.
