Process indicators are additional evaluation criteria in element structures. Categories can be assigned to each of them, and criteria can be assigned to each category.
By default, there are three process indicators, each of which can be assigned any number of categories and criteria.
The Value-Added Process Indicator (VAAD) is divided into three categories:
▪NONE (not assigned)
▪VA (value adding)
▪NV (non value adding)
Each of these categories may, in turn, contain a quantity of criteria.
For example, the VA (value-added) category contains the VA (value-added) criterion, to which a color and a time for the allowance calculation are assigned.

▪In order to be able to evaluate set-up times of elements with process indicators, the Evaluate set-up time option must be activated in the corresponding column. If the option is deactivated, the process indicator chart for set-up times remains empty despite the assignment. ▪In the "Time for allowance calculation" column, a corresponding code (va01–va40) is automatically assigned for each criterion when saving. This code can be used for further calculation in the allowance classes. |
Creating a process indicator
1.Enable the indicator by checking the "Enabled" checkbox
2.Definition of categories and criteria
To do this, click on the corresponding row and enter the desired information into the table.
Alternatively, click the + button to create and name new categories or criteria
3.Activation / Labeling on the of the element configuration
▪In the "Tabs" tab of an element configuration, the corresponding tabs are activated and named accordingly. The tabs of the process indicators, such as "Value added", are used for evaluating the process indicators which have been assigned in the structure by the corresponding columns.
