The module TiCon TS (Time Study) offers a solution for creating, managing and further using time studies.
The TiCon module makes it possible to plan target working times by measuring and evaluating actual times. The measurement is carried out using MTM's own app, which is available free of charge in the Apple, Google (for Android), and Microsoft app stores for mobile devices.
The times for prepared time studies are recorded offline. A web service is responsible for the communication.
The time study is prepared on a PC:
•The work system, the work task to be carried out, the procedure, and the method used are described as precisely as necessary. This can be done using all TiCon standard functions such as free text input, picture, and document attachments as well as by connecting master data objects such as operators or machines.
•The operations belonging to the work task are recorded and the workflow is divided into sections. Description, measuring point, reference quantities, and influencing factors are also recorded.
The prepared time study is transferred to a mobile device where the time measurement is made using the TiCon TS app. It is also possible to record errors and assess the performance level.
After having completed the time study with the mobile device, the data is transferred back to the PC, where the statistical evaluation and standard time determination is made.
The print and file output of each time study is made using a standard form.
It is possible to create process elements from entire time studies or single sections, that may be further used in TiCon4 Base or in other additional modules, e.g. for balancing or for process designs.
The module consists of the "Time study" element type with the "Time study [T2]" element configuration, which shows the "Z2" time measurement sheet.
For working with the module, all general functions are available as in TiCon Base.
