The TiCon REST-API establishes a bidirectional interface between TiCon and other enterprise applications by enabling the direct exchange of necessary data between TiCon and the company's existing PPS/ERP systems - without temporary storage in file directories.

The TiCon REST-API has the ability to be accessed using any programming language and enables secure data exchange via HTTPS.

Using the REST-API, it is also possible to implement both standardized and custom export and import interfaces.

The REST-API can be run on a Windows web server (Internet Information Server, hereinafter: IIS) or as an Azure Web App.

Chapter 4 describes the installation within IIS is described.
