Assembly position

A definition of an assembly position of the assembly is necessary for the description and analysis of the assembly. The starting point for the assembly (zero point) and the main direction of the assembly is defined subject to the assembly position of the assembly. The selected assembly position is documented in the "Kopf" of the ProKon analysis.

Zero point of the assembling order

Below, Middle, Above

The zero point is the starting point for assembling the respective assembly. The bottom-left corner on the front of the assembly, the center of the assembly, or the top-left corner on the front of the assembly can be selected. If, for example, the bottom-left corner is selected as the starting point for assembly (zero point), the distance of the 1st positioning location after starting the assembly relates to this point. The zero point as the starting point for the assembling order must be documented in the "Kopf" of the ProKon analysis.

Main assembly direction

The main assembly direction is defined for each assembly. On the basis of this main assembly direction, a change of positioning and fastening directions is later evaluated in the analysis sheet. The defined main assembly direction is documented in the "Kopf" of the ProKon analysis using axis (X, Y, Z) and direction (+, -).

All assembly and ergonomic interferences occurring during the assembly of a component or assembly are considered and described separately. The associated criteria are explained below.
