Each element is characterized by its type and status.

Statements are made about the type and the status of an element concerning its further application. The chosen settings are provided for the search and regulate the further application of the element within and outside of TiCon (via interfaces).

The type and status can be flexibly activated or deactivated and individually labeled via the administration. The possible types are "Production", "Planning", and "Calculation". There are 8 freely definable statuses per type.
