The option “Is continued”
The Is continued option can be selected in the weight / force column if an object is still under control while an additional action is being performed.
An example of such a continued weight is turning on a cordless screwdriver that is already being held in the hand.

Conditions for use:
▪In the previous line, the action DEPOSIT or APPLY PRESSURE has been selected.
▪In the current line, the right hand or the fingers of the right or left hand are selected as the active limb.
▪In the previous line, the right / left hand or the fingers of the right / left hand are selected as the active limb.
▪If the preceding line describes a combined motion, then the preceding line is the one in which the active limb is on the right or left side.
Weight over 23 kg
If the weight exceeds 23 kg, a time addition will be applied in accordance with the terms and conditions.
Exceeding 23 kg is technically possible only when working "two-handed".
If the distance parameter is set to walking and the weight parameter exceeds 23 kg, the execution condition parameter is assigned a time value of 9 TMU for each commenced meter.
Use of Transportation
If a means of transport is defined in the analysis, the entered weight is not considered for time evaluation. The time depends only on the force entered, with the greatest force being the determining factor.
Exceeding maximum weights and maximum forces
One-handed handling of weights >22 kg (for time-limiting weight) or two-handed handling of weights >44 kg is not permitted and will be marked as an error.
The same applies to 200 N and 440 N as arm strength and full-body strength, respectively.
Trunk rotation at the beginning and end of the analysis
In the first and last rows of an analysis, it is not possible to analyze a trunk rotation with one foot (x > 45°) (Pictogram 4) or a trunk rotation with both feet (x>90°) (Pictogram 5). In the last line, a trunk rotation of 0 (icon 1) is automatically assumed.
Analysis of two consecutive grasping modes
If two different modes of grasping with the same hand are analyzed in two consecutive lines, a change of grasping or re-grasping must generally be analyzed as well. Otherwise, an error message will appear.
eHPU evaluation / determine k- or p-component
The eHPU (engineered Hours Per Unit) metric represents the design-related analysis time, which is determined by the properties of the components, and defines the minimum time threshold that cannot be reduced through process optimization.
The eHPU evaluation is determined by selecting the relevant influencing factors and is calculated according to the guidelines of TiCon’s MTM-HWD® method.
In the column "k- / p-Share", the time for each row can also be defined individually as a k-share (constructive share) or a p-share (process-related share).
