The code is the name of an element that is used to address it for any further use. The code is the unique key term under which an element is stored in the database (comparable to the name of a file).

The code can be entered manually (free) or with the help of a predefined coding schema.

The code consists of digits and characters and is displayed as tab description.

The following characters are not allowed: %, *, ?, _ and '.
